The Chicago Polar Plunge is right around the corner and the #Root3Marketing team is excited to #plungeitforward for Special Olympics Chicago for the second year in a row.
“Our team had such a positive experience last year; it was a given that we would participate again this year,” said Jason Abrahams, VP at Root3. “We’ve had the pleasure of working with the incredible people at Special Olympics Chicago. We’re proud to do our part to raise money and awareness for this important organization and the people they serve.”
Abrahams recapped the top three reasons Root3 employees, family and friends will be #freezingforareason at the 17th annual Chicago Polar Plunge:
- Making a difference – The Root3 team is inspired to make a positive impact in the lives of local children and adults with intellectual disabilities. “We connect personally with this organization and strongly believe in their mission,” said Abrahams.
- Fundraising is easy for such a great cause – “We’re thrilled to do our part to raise money for Special Olympics Chicago,” said Abrahams, “In today’s connected world, reaching out to our family and friends to ask for their support and donation has never been easier. It doesn’t hurt that our team is a little competitive so we have fun with it and challenge each other to do more.”
- Breaking the ice with a special experience – Root3 values team building and the #ChicagoPolarPlunge is a great fit for the company’s culture. “Nothing will connect your team more than raising money for a worthwhile cause,” said Abrahams. “But taking the plunge is also a badge of honor and bragging rights for those who go in all the way go a long way!”
